Ok. Out on this Safari and we came across this little kitty. Some think it’s a baby Cheetah. Others think it’s somekind of Lynx or what not.
So pipe up. This is for you guys like Corey M, Mark R, Rob L etc.

It’s not a Cheetah or Lynx. It might be an Ocelot but I’m not sure from this view.
Andy,
From the picture and some quick research, its not a lynx, as it is indigenous to NA, and lives in colder climates. Ocelots which would have a similar color scheme as a cheetah only lives in the SW US, and S and Central America. I hope your guide was packing a heavy shooting iron. If you see a cub or a baby cheetah, mama is around. Cheetahs are plans critters. What you have there is a small leopard. They love to drop from trees. Very bad juju. I may think its a Serval, which is a small cat that lives in Kenya and Tanzania.

Andy,
Correction, Cheetahs, are plains cats.
So do any of you know?
Andy,
Robbie and I conferred after church that what we are looking at is indeed a Serval. Still, I would not recommend petting one.
